EATING OUT The whole region enjoys an abundance of good food and wine. Particular specialties include duck, truffles and an array of different cheeses. The smaller restaurants in the surrounding villages are well worth a visit and many produce amazing menus of great value, variety and quantity.
LOCAL AMMENITIES Both Vayrac and Betaille have a bakery, butchers, small village shop and Restaurant. Vayrac also has a twice weekly farmers market and an internet cafe. Hypermarkets and other large shopping centers are situated in Brive La Gaillard, Brive also has a very large market in the center of the town on a saturday morning. Bretenoux has a local market on tuesday mornings.
